Waring Bank is a spacious new-build family home on the shores of Carlingford Lough.
It is home to Anne Faloon and her husband Keith, whose family have owned the site since the 1940’s when it was surrounded by fields and
horses.
Whilst the original cottage was removed in 2010 to allow the new house to be built, the original stained glass windows were rescued, and have been beautifully incorporated into the new house.
Having ended her previous employment after their move to Killowen, Anne was inspired by comments from neighbours and friends about the suitability of the house for holiday accommodation, and this, along with her previous experience in the industry and her love of entertaining, convinced her to pursue the avenue of B&B.
The House
The house has 3 bright and spacious en-suite double bedrooms and a lounge with a panoramic view across Carlingford Lough towards Rostrevor and Warrenpoint on one side and down towards Carlingford village on the other side.
Outside, there are decorative gardens to the rear of the house (roadside) and open gardens to the front (loughside), with a decking area accessed from the lounge and a patio area leading onto the shore. Barbecue facilities are available on request.
With the added bonus of massage therapies provided on site, you could find all the relaxation you need here.
“We know how relaxing we find living in Waring Bank – we
hope we can make your stay just as relaxing and enjoyable.”
